This deck contains images reminiscent of the traditional Rider-Waite tarot, but in Spice Insights each card additionally reflects an herb, a spice, or a food. The elements ruling the minor suits--swords (air), wands (fire), cups (water), and pentacles (earth)--are represented by individual spices, and mirror back to us the nuanced qualities present in the psyche, in true tarot form. Through familiar and evocative imagery, tarot has a way of gently inviting the subconscious mind to bring forward the intuition, and bring about useful insights. In this process, we find meaningful ways to navigate consciously through the maze of our developing psyche.
